It is a beautiful Los Angeles morning and my photo buddies, Norman, Jerry and Louis and I have taken a brief expedition to the Wat Thai (Buddhist Temple) in North Hollywood. I am drawn to the artistry of the monks in residence, the elegance of young women preparing for a traditional ceremony, the innocence of a child in worship through dance, the rhythm of martial arts and the timeless beauty of a young 11 year old named Megan. An hour later I am headed home filled with joy. Life is blissful again and I give thanks.
